Compare TeamFlow 9, TeamFlow 8 and TeamFlow MP

TeamFlow 9 and TeamFlow MP are designed to serve two different markets. TeamFlow MP brings basic deployment flowcharting to a wide range of computer platforms. TeamFlow 9 is a full-featured package providing associated documents and an integrated Cost/Schedule processor, but is only available on late-version Microsoft Windows® systems.

TeamFlow 9 and TeamFlow MP 9.1 (See Note 3) are both XML-based. They understand and can read each other's databases. However, if you read a TeamFlow 9 model into TeamFlow MP, change it, and Save the file, all the Documents and Cost/Schedule data, which MP does not understand, will be lost.

TeamFlow 9 can read legacy TMF files created by TeamFlow 8 and earlier versions.
TeamFlow 9 can not write legacy TMF files, so it is not downward compatible with earlier versions.

TeamFlow MP can not read the legacy TMF files created by TeamFlow 8 and earlier versions.

The data files created by TeamFlow MP and TeamFlow 8 are not compatible.
